Back 2 School Bash - September 11
Kick off the school year with the best back to school party around, The Back to School Bash at The Naz! All kids K-4 grade are invited for a fun celebration including bounce houses, food, free giveaways and a special art performance by Dave O' Connell!! Drop and Recharge (Birth - Pre-K): Wednesdays 6:00-8:00pm
Your littles will have a great time exploring our great big God on Wednesday nights while you recharge in the way you need to. It could be fellowship with other believers at our adult programming, a date night, grocery shopping, or sitting down with a hot cup of tea or coffee. Six & Switch (1st - 4th Grade): Wednesdays 6:00-8:00pm
All K-4th graders are welcome to our Wednesday night Six and Switch Recharge. For six weeks straight we do fun interactive classes that start off with a Christ centered life lesson. A sample of the classes might be cooking, building, acting, crafting, sports, board games, gardening...then after the six weeks they switch to a whole different set of classes. It’s a wonderful time for the kids to hang out with old and new friends and recharge their faith. Come join us in the gym at 6:00 for free time, then at 6:30 our Six and Switch classes start until 8:00 pm. We are so looking forward to seeing each of you here at the Naz on Wednesday nights.
Children's Bible Quizzing
It’s that time of the year again! Children’s Bible Quizzing for kids in 1st-6th grade is starting Wednesday, September 18th. This year the kids will be testing their knowledge on the book of Genesis. This is a great opportunity for kids to spend time digging into God’s Word, memorizing it and applying it to their lives. They will compete at 4-5 quiz meets throughout the season. Practices will be every Wednesday from 5:15-6:15pm through the end of the season (March). EMD Kids Got Talent - September 14
EMD Kids Got Talent is a district wide talent competition for kids in Kindergarten - 6th grade. Kids may compete in a variety of competitions including group talents, performing talents, dramatic talents, arts and creative talents, and finally, athletics! Middle School Ministry
RIOT (5th - 8th Grade): Wednesdays 6:00-8:00pm
Come join us Wednesday night for our RIOT Middle School program! Our program will go from 6 pm to 8 pm. The skatepark and youth center will be open before from 5-6 and after from 8-9 to hang out. RIOT stands for Revival In Our Time and that is what we want to start. We want to see revival that starts now! We will have weekly teaching, worship, games and small group. We hope to see your student at our program and cannot wait to walk alongside them as they take their next steps with God.
High School Ministry
Youth Group (9th - 12th Grade): Wednesdays 6:00-8:00pm
Senior High Youth Group at The Naz is back on and we’re excited to spend time with you guys on Wednesday Nights from 6pm to 8pm! Our desire is that you will feel mobilized in your faith no matter where you are at in your journey. We’re going to have a time for fun and challenging messages and small groups as well as some crazy game & activities! We hope you consider joining us this fall for youth group located back in The Naz Youth Center!

Recharge Class - Fantastic Four
In-depth study of four biblical heroes starting September 11 at 6:30pm One thing that will always be true is the idea that history repeats itself. We will go back in time to explore the lives of the devoted “greats” of the past. We will gain key insights and lifelong lessons that will both challenge and comfort us all. As we look at the lives and experiences of these heroes of the past, we will ultimately find greater meaning in our lives today. These are the “Heroes” we will be studying:

Get Recharged on Wednesdays at 6:30pm in the Chapel, starting Sept 11th- Oct 2nd. Come early and enjoy some snacks and drinks at 6pm.

Men’s Camping/Fishing Trip – September 27 - 29
Join us for our annual fall camping and fishing trip as we head back up north for another incredible weekend at Interlochen State Park. This is a great time to relax and connect with other men of The Naz and grow closer to God while enjoying the beautiful Traverse City area. Whether you enjoy camping, fishing, hiking, biking, or simply connecting with other men, come enjoy a weekend away. Cost is $60 and includes campsite, breakfasts, and dinners Friday – Saturday. MOPS - Starts September 10
Starting in the fall, MOPS is coming to The Naz! This is a group designed for moms to experience fellowship, practical teaching, and honest conversation with other moms who understand the joys and frustrations of motherhood. From the time you get pregnant to when your kid is in Kindergarten, you have a place in MOPS. Meetings will take place the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 10:00am until noon. Mark your calendar for September 10 so you don’t miss our first meeting! Registration is $40 for the year - which includes 16 meetings, childcare, coffee, and membership to MOPS International. 50 and UP Ministry
Visiting Mindo Chocolate Makers, Dexter - August 21
Join us for an enjoyable day as we visit a chocolate maker that takes the product from the bean to the candy bar. They have a second site in Mindo, Equador, where the cacao beans originate. After our chocolate experience, we will have lunch at Dexter Riverview Café, “where Dexter gathers for breakfast and lunch.” You can sign up HERE for the event. Cost is $15.00 per person for the tour, plus your lunch and a donation for gas. Final date to register and pay the $15.00 is Sunday, July 28th. The fee is non-refundable, unless the entire event is cancelled. We will be leaving The Naz parking lot at 10:00am.

Toledo Zoo and Aquarium - October 1
Join the 50 and UP gang as we explore the Toledo Zoo and Aquarium. It is Senior Discovery Days at the zoo, which makes this a very affordable event.
