Panama Day Four

Another full work day at Potrero Grande. The pictures don't do justice to all that was accomplished today. Those trenches from yesterday were filled with rebar, cement and covered in dirt. This was followed by a lot of dirt tamping (with a hand-held machine; see pics) to flatten the area where cement will be poured for the foundation. The bathroom area really took shape this afternoon, with lots of dirt dug out - ready for foundation work tomorrow. **Sorry, I neglected to go to the other side of the work area and take pictures of those working very hard mixing cement - so if you don't see your child, that is probably where they spent the majority of their day.** Our day was cut short by rain, so no VBS today. Tomorrow we will again continue to work on this project, Pastor Stu will do a workshop for local youth on evangelizing friends, and the team will walk through the neighborhood handing out Care Kits ending in the park with a VBS. Please pray that our day will be full of God Moments, both for our team and for those with whom we will come into contact.
