Day 6

Much progress again today! Today we sanded the walls that were mudded the other day, and mudded some more. We got the drop ceiling mostly in. We primed all four classrooms today so they're ready to paint on Friday. We are so close to finishing their Children's area!

For lunch today they made us chicken fajitas and pumpkin soup. Dinner was beef with potatoes, rice, beans and a side salad. I can not leave out the food experience... It's top notch. :)

After we worked and ate dinner we went back to the mall and.... got gelato! I think it was God ordained to put a group of ice cream lovers together. It was meant to be for sure.

I forgot to include a story from the rain forest. We stopped to take a photograph and ask a gentleman to take it for us. He said he was from Ireland. He asked where we were from and we told him Michigan. Then he said he is actually originally from Michigan. He is teaching at a Bible college in Ireland. The friend he was with said they prayed to run into a mission team in Puerto Rico. Then they ran into us and end up being from where we are from. They prayed over our group. It was a neat moment!

We had another great devotional tonight and talked about building God's house. Not even just the physical church, but building his Kingdom. Building relationships. What a blessing it is. Don't let life get too busy or allow your priorities to get out of line from what God is calling you to. Listen. Slow down and enjoy God's plans.
