So Sunday kicked off our Family series called “The Incredible Family”. We are very excited to lock arms with the families at the Naz and truly make family life BETTER for 2012. Pastor Ben is doing a study called “Marriage 101” on Wednesday nights during our Accelerate service along with Pastor Tim and Gina offering “The Incredible Family Workshop” on Sunday, February 26th after the second service. This is a great opportunity for your family to take a few hours and write it down! You know you want to, you need to, you should but life is busy and it’s hard to carve out the time for this kind of thing! So let us encourage you JUST DO IT! You won’t regret it!
On Sunday, we heard about our small groups working with our Missions teams and reaching out to our community by doing laundry for the homeless, feeding them and just spending time with them. We are looking forward to more opportunities like this to EXPAND ourselves outside our 4 walls at the church and really be THE CHURCH.
The students went to Spring Hill last weekend and came in on Sunday to share testimony that lives were changed and a give a great big Thank-you to those who supported them both financially and in prayer.
The children’s ministry reported another successful movie night for young families, if you did not make this one there is another one coming up on Friday night February 24th! Mark your calendars!
We are blessed Naz families, and God has called us to glorify HIS name in all that we do. Lock arms with us and let’s do our best to point to the one who saves us and who is the reason we do thing thing called church.

Wow, last night was an incredible night together as we wrapped up our House of the Lord Fast. We engaged in beautiful worship and prayer as we lifted our families, the hurting, the lost, the broken to our healer. He is truly all we need. Pastor Ben encouraged us all to consider making fasting a part of our regular spiritual disciplines. You can read more about fasting in Matthew 6:16 – 18 and Matthew 9:14-17. Let’s DO THIS in 2012 not for any reason other than to
Seek the mighty face of God and beg for his anointing and presence to be among us. See you at church on Sunday as we wrap up The Biggest Losers series and hear a little bit From our 3 friends : Melissa, Danny and Jason! See you there

What a blessed weekend we had around here!
The children’s ministry wrapped up our coat drive with 320 coats and 425 hats/gloves/scarves and some blankets!
On Sunday we jumped back into The Biggest Loser sermon series and we heard from our friends Danny, Melissa and Jason on how they are doing with the challenge given. If you have missed one of the last 2 weeks at the Naz catch up by watching the VIDEOS HERE and listening to the SERMON HERE. This is a great beginning to our new year as a church and individually. We introduced a new song called Lord I Need You and I know for me and many of the worship team members our hearts have been broken open to this concept and the reality that He is really all I need and He is enough.

It’s a new year and we kicked it off yesterday by gathering for a wonderful meal prepared by Dave DelCorvo and his team after a day of fasting and prayer.
Then we joined together in the Sanctuary for a time of worship and reflection as we took communion and praised our Lord. Pastor Ben walked us through Colossians 3:18-24. He started the service out by asking us “What does SUBMIT mean?” and as we answered stuff like :
Serve one another
Fellowship
Love
Respect
Carry each other’s burdens
Show up
Care
Be kind
Pastor Ben walked us through what it means to truly submit and love each other. He challenged us that if we all would just do any of the these things on the list 20% more or better that our church and our homes would be MUCH different this year. Looking inward to what WE can do, not what others should do. Let’s live this year with a little less entitlement and a little more giving! We ended the service with the song by Matt Maher called “Love will Hold us Together”. Amen to that.
